Silver Salver Award 2021

The Silver Salver is presented annually to a person or group, who by their outstanding services to the people of our Parish are credited with this recognition.

This year Marc Lanham has received the Silver Salver – in 2020 he organised a Sunflower competition and provided Sunflower seeds for the school children of the Parish and lots of them embraced and produced some amazing sunflowers. Marc has also provided wild flower seeds this year for a similar competition. He was also involved in the Christmas Tree lights trail, which we sure you will all agree was amazing, Marc arranged to collect and deliver Christmas trees to those who needed them and also collected and disposed of them after Christmas. Marc along with Shelly Bentley, built a sleigh and organised for Santa to travel around the village, this brought the village to life at what was a very difficult time for everyone.

Thank you Marc once again for everything you have done, we as a Parish are extremely grateful!
